Associazione InformaGiovani is offering to youth workers, educators, teachers and activists the opportunity to join the seminar DAMLAC (Digital and Media Literacy for Active Citizenship) supported by Erasmus+ programme, on the topic of media education and digital activism.
The seminar will involve 30 participants from 10 European countries (Italy, Estonia, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Hungary) from 24 to 27 November 2021 (arrival date: 23/11/2021; departure date: 28/11/2021).
DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
The seminar is aimed at promoting active exchange of experience, expertise, ideas and tools among non-governmental youth organizations dealing with media literacy and media education. The seminar will be useful to exchange experience and, mainly to check if it is possible to establish a network or youth organization dealing with media literacy with a critical approach. In a long term perspective, the project aims at promoting the development of new activities, new tools and new methodologies on the specific subject and the implementation of new actions in the frame of Erasmus+ with involvement of both formal and non-formal educational sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to acquire:
Board and lodging: provided by Associazione InformaGiovani during the activity period.
Travel costs: reimbursed on actual costs incurred up to the budget limit based on Erasmus+ distance calculator as listed in the infosheet below. Reimbursement will be done by bank transfer after receiving the needed supporting documents (invoice / booking confirmation and boarding passes / tickets) and completion of the EU Survey questionnaire by the participant.
